The Most Beautiful Bloom

I wanted to start the year with a fresh start but by revisiting painting a Protea flower in a bit of a different way. I wanted to create depth, some lightness but also movement to capture the beauty and uniqueness of this unusual bloom. I've titled it "At The Mailbox I Found The Most Beautiful Bloom" because I literally picked it outside my post office.
