The Light Of The Morning - King Protea
Outside of my post office there are many flowers full of colour that bloom at various points throughout the year. In Spring the King Proteas that bloom and thrive and I was inspired to capture their beautiful tones of colour.
This trio of flowers have been painted with acrylic paint on slightly textured Fabriano watercolour paper. It measures 56cm x 77cm which is larger than A2 and the painting is surrounded by white paper. This enables the buyer to either custom frame the work or crop it to fit an A2 frame.
Signed and dated on both the front and back, it also comes with a certificate of authenticity.
